Jeff believes we must fight antisemitism on both sides of the aisle. As a parent of a Columbia University student, he understands it is imperative that we take action against universities and organizations that have allowed an unsafe climate for Jewish students. Our leaders can no longer be quiet about this rising hate and discrimination in our country. We need swift action to stop antisemitism, just as we should always take action against any hate of any kind in our communities.
Jeff also recognizes that support of Israel must continue to be a bipartisan issue. It’s essential to better educate the public on the importance of this strategic U.S. partnership for national security, our shared Democratic values, and Israel's internationally-recognized technological advancements.
A safe and secure Israel can only be possible through lasting peace. Jeff will prioritize strategic, diplomatic bipartisan efforts to facilitate stabilization in the region. Working with public and private organizations in the State, Jeff will also focus on creating new business collaborations between Israel, New Jersey and the United States.
As a synagogue board member, Jeff understands the security risks facing our community. He will help to secure additional funding and work with local police departments to ensure they are properly trained in the specific threats to all religious institutions.
